Writer and educator Kirsty Strang-Roy leads this two-hour interactive and reflective workshop on the power of place in our experience and creative writing practice.
Through engaging journaling and writing prompts, we’ll traverse the real and imaginary places we want to write. From the landscapes of childhood memories to the solar system above, this workshop encourages us to think deeply about our place within the worlds we inhabit and create.
Suitable for all levels; whether you write all the time or are just starting out. There is no pressure to share work, though you are welcome to do so!
Participants will need a notebook/paper and their favourite pen.
