Learn about the universe and the telescopes that help us see it!
Telescopes come in all shapes and sizes. We will zoom through time looking at the first telescope inventions and continue through the modern era of the James Webb telescope and the Event Horizon Telescope. We will then have some hands-on experience learning to use an amateur telescope.
Best suited for ages 10 and up.
Did you know the library has telescopes you can borrow? They are part of our Library of Things - a collection of nontraditional materials available to use for free with your library card!
